Our Girls

Jill - born November 3, 2000

Jill is the offspring of Jill Brodie's Reno and Dawn in Alberta. Reno is an Open Level dog with plenty of power. Dawn is also on her way up in the sheep herding trials in Alberta and BC. Jill is a very gentle, calm dog who works her sheep with grace and patience. We have not entered Jill in any trials (yet!) but she is a dependable worker at our farm on a daily basis.

Woolly Sue - born April 29, 2003 (SOLD)

Sue is a Welsh import from champion herding lines. She is a stylish worker with plenty of eye and balances well on her sheep Sue has good power and moderate courage and keeps the sheep moving. She is extremely obedient and biddable and as a result did very well in the Novice-Novice class this year, winning the overall champion spot in the province of Ontario after 8 trials.

Sue will move up to Pro-Novice next year and we are currently working on teaching her her driving skills.

Wisp - born May 7, 2003 (SOLD)

Wisp is from Diana Gauthier's Nifty and Stormy Winter's Roy in British Columbia. Roy is an Open level dog who has done well at stock dog trials in Western Canada and the United States. Wisp is very interested in stock and we'll be glad when she can no longer wiggle under the fences to get to her sheep. The few times where she's got through the fences, she's gathered well and is a naturally square flanker. She has an outgoing personality and doesn't back down from anything.

Shade - born June 10, 2005

The newest member of our dog family. She is a blue border collie from this year's litter (Jill and Chase). Already she is a dog with lots of confidence and curiosity.
